A1 poster produced for the exhibition Encounters at TAF/The Art Foundation, Athens, 27.-30. November 2019. The exhibition was part of the Ethnofest - Athens Ethnographic Film Festivals side programme Encounters Through Art, Ethnography And Pedagogy, a collaboration between Athens Ethnogaphic Film Festival, University of Agder, University of the Aegean, University of Amsterdam, Arts Cabinet, and Raketa.

Text work from a stay at Lesbos in the summer of 2019, reproduced as a poster. The text is an expression of the perceived discomfort of attending a course in art-based ethnography under the auspices of a Norwegian educational institution, just off the refugee camp of Moria and in the midst of a heat wave. The text seeks to put the discomfort into a larger context by pointing to current connections between beauty and foreboding, wealth and ruin, and to highlight the anthropological concept of denial as a cultural phenomenon in its encounter.

Tekstarbeid fra et opphold på Lesbos sommeren 2019, reprodusert som plakat. Teksten er et uttrykk for det opplevde ubehaget ved å delta på et kurs i kunstbasert etnografi i regi av en norsk utdanningsinstitusjon, like ved flyktningeleiren Moria og midt under en hetebølge. Teksten forsøker å sette ubehaget inn i en større kontekst ved å peke på sammenhenger mellom skjønnhet og uhygge, rikdom og ruin, og å trekke frem det antropologiske begrepet fornektelse som kulturelt fenomen i møte med disse.
